MCC Summer Day Camps 2010

We are proud to welcome you to our Summer Day Camps. We combine educational activities, arts & crafts, fitness and special events to create an exciting, quality camp experience for our participants. Our camps are held at the beautiful Maplewood Community Center, giving us the access to ‘State of the Art’ facilities including pool, theater and gymnasium. Weekly field trips, swimming, drama, Nature Center activities and sports are just a few of the things we have to offer.

Dates: Monday – Friday, June 14 – September 3rd, 2010

Time: 9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.
*Extended hours: Available from 7-9am and 4-6pm.

Staff: We pride ourselves with staff that are responsible, high-energy individuals trained to provide a fun and rewarding experience to our participants. The ratio of counselors to children is 1:10 daily and 1:7 on field trips.

A non-refundable $30 deposit holds your spot each week (see registration packet for details).

Field Trips: We offer incredible field trips on Wednesday of each week.

Registration for returning campers begins March 1, 2010: March 10th for new campers.

Swim Instruction for Day Campers Only! The Maplewood Community Center is now offering swim lessons for Day Campers with lower rates and classes that fit the Day Camp schedule. These convenient classes are shorter in length (six classes versus eight) and still qualify the swimmer to move to the next level.

Levels 1-4 (American Red Cross Courses) will be offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons for 2 weeks from 12:30-1:15 pm. More information will be included in your Day Camp registration packet. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity!

Register for our program at the Maplewood Community Center (a day camp packet must be filled out and returned to the MCC customer service for a child to be enrolled in this program.)
