Overview
The City of Maplewood licenses and regulates lawful gambling that occurs within the City. Minnesota state law defines lawful gambling as the operation, conduct, or sale of bingo, raffles, and pull-tabs.Lawful gambling can only be conducted by licensed non-profit organizations. Lawful gambling benefits Maplewood residents and communities through the work done by, and the contributions made by, these non-profit organizations. Maplewood Police Department (MPD) conducts criminal investigation involving lawful gambling. The (MPD) also inspects and audits lawful gambling sites and organizations doing business in Maplewood; and works to ensure the integrity and public confidence in lawful gambling being conducted in Maplewood.

Application Requirements
You must submit the following:
- Completed Lawful Gambling license application and documents specified in the
application.
Expiration/Renewal
The annual Lawful Gambling license expires December 31 of each year and may be renewed at that time.
