Maplewood Day Camp 2014 
We are proud to welcome you to our Summer Day Camp. Maplewood Day Camp is the affordable day camp choice for you!  We offer a high-energy, full day program that includes educational activities, arts & crafts, fitness and special events to create an exciting quality camp experience for our participants.  Our camp is held at the Maplewood Community Center, giving us daily access to the newly renovated aquatics center, including an interactive submarine and many other amenities. Weekly field trips, swimming, nature hikes, recreation and fitness activities both indoors and outdoors, are just a few of the things we have to offer.

Annual Maplewood ALL PARKS CLEAN UP 

Saturday, April 26, 8:00AM – 1:00PM 
Calling all families, students, scouts…
The Maplewood Parks and Recreation Commission invite you to participate in our Annual Spring Clean Up.  Please consider donating a few hours to spruce up our parks while meeting other people in the community.  We will organize at the Maplewood Community Center.  Cleanup materials (bags and gloves), coffee and snacks will be available from 8:00AM – 10:30AM.  A complimentary lunch and beverage will be served at Wakefield Park 11:30AM – 1:00PM for all volunteers.  For further information contact Jim Taylor at 651.249.2121 or .

Maplewood's Geocaching Program
If you want an exciting new hobby that allows you to combine your love of technology with nature and exploration, then geocaching is for you!
Your Mission is to:
1. Hunt down the site of each cache in the parks.
2. Write down the secret word from each cache and write it in your       passport log.
3. Once your passport is full, bring it to either the Maplewood Nature Center or the Parks and Recreation office at 1902 County Road B East and  claim your prize!
We've hidden a cache in 26 of Maplewood’s Parks, 2 in Maplewood Neighborhood Preserves and 1 in the Nature Center. Click here to visit the Geocaching page for more information.
