Human Resource Department
As the central point for employee relations, the Human Resource Department (HR) works hard to encourage, support and provide guidance to City staff, supervisors and managers on employee related issues.  This includes coordinating and facilitating recruiting efforts, employee benefits; training and development; safety and wellness programs, and workers’ compensation.  HR also oversees employee compensation, job classification, employee records management, personnel policy administration and human resources technical and professional support for all City departments.
